A three-match skid ended for the Emporia High boys soccer team in the seventh-place match of the Blue Bracket of the Titan Classic against Maize Saturday.
Emporia High defeated the Eagles 3-2.
Brayden Sailer scored the Spartans’ first goal with Kevin Magana getting the assist.
Benjamin Gamez scored the second goal with Emilio Aleman getting the assist.
Magana scored the game-winner with Carter Granado getting the assist.
Emporia High is now 2-4. The Spartans open up Centennial League play at Hayden on Tuesday.
