No injuries were noted after a vehicle fire in Americus early Monday afternoon.
Fire crews went to the Casey’s convenience store after fire developed in a vehicle on the north side of the parking lot. Americus Fire Chief Bill Harmon says a Casey’s delivery driver used a fire extinguisher to put the fire out before it spread.
Harmon says the likely cause was an oil leak from the exhaust manifold.
