After a massive turnout for the Great American Market this past weekend, Emporia Main Street is getting ready for a massive schedule between now and the holidays.
On KVOE’s Morning Show on Wednesday, Main Street Director Casey Woods revealed the stats from Saturday’s market:
Woods also says 125 vendor slots have already been claimed for next year’s market. Nearly 180 vendors participated this past weekend.
The schedule is full for Main Street activities through October, starting with the state’s first Network Kansas Maker Space Summit at Emporia State University on Sept. 20. Woods says around 120 people from Kansas and other states will attend. Also ahead:
*Emporia High’s all-class Apella reunion is Sept. 22-23, with the September Shop Hop on Sept. 23.
*The latest Start Your Own Business course begins Oct. 9.
*Dia de los Muertos and Downtown Trick or Treat are both Oct. 28.
*Main Street is also getting ready for the city’s All Veterans Tribute from Nov. 1-11.
