The Emporia High volleyball team extended its winning streak to 12 with a sweep over Salina South and Topeka West Thursday night in Topeka.
The Lady Spartans swept the Cougars in straight sets, 25-18, 25-16. Emporia High defeated the Chargers, 25-18, 25-10.
Emporia High, the ninth-ranked team in Class 5A, is now 15-1 on the season. The Lady Spartans are next in action next Thursday when they travel to Manhattan to face Manhattan and Salina Central.
