Underground pipe issues are ongoing in Emporia after two extremely busy days of repairs.
City and contract crews are on site with three repair zones as of lunchtime: the 2200 block of Redwood, 12th and Stanton and 15th and West — which continues issues following a break from Wednesday. Water service is disrupted on Redwood and at 15th and West.
Crews have already fixed a water main break near Yucca Lane and Dover Road from early Thursday.
Over 10 water main breaks had already developed and been fixed between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday night.
