An Emporia woman suffered minor injuries after a crash just west of the city on Wednesday.
Troopers say 28-year-old Selena Rodriguez crashed just before noon on US Highway 50. Rodriguez suffered an apparent medical incident. Her car then left the highway before hitting a guardrail and a sign.
Rodriguez was taken to Newman Regional Health for observation and possible treatment.
