One person was taken to Newman Regional Health following an injury accident in Far West Emporia Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the 1200 block of Graphic Arts Road, near Flying J, just before 3:50 pm and cleared the scene roughly five minutes later. According to Emporia Batallion Chief Ryan Conley, initial indications are that two vehicles were involved, however, a full crash narrative is still pending.
One person was taken from the scene of the accident by ambulance to Newman with undisclosed injuries. Emporia Police are leading the investigation into the crash.
