A busy period for water main leaks is continuing with a break near Emporia’s Public Works headquarters.
A break was reported on West 12th between Hatcher and Graphic Arts around 6 pm Saturday. Other details are pending.
Public Works and contract crews have already handled around 20 water main breaks in Emporia since Tuesday afternoon.
