Council Grove officers have arrested a man on suspicion of aggravated burglary, impersonation of law enforcement and other charges after an incident last week.
Police Chief Shawn Wangerin says the incident unfolded late Wednesday night after a call to the 10 block of North Belfry indicating somebody was pounding on the door of that residence. Further incident details haven’t been announced, but Jeremy Barker was arrested. He now faces 11 formal counts, including four counts of battery against law enforcement, two counts of interference, one of impersonation, one of residential burglary and other counts including criminal damage and criminal trespass.
A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 2.
