One person died as the result of a crash in southeast Greenwood County late Friday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol crash log says the crash happened on US Highway 400 east of Severy just before 11:30 pm. A car driven by 61-year-old Charles Rogers of Severy was eastbound and went left of the center line for unknown reasons. The car sideswiped a semi driven by 29-year-old James Deloach of Millen, Georgia, and then went head-on into a utility truck driven by 48-year-old Merlyn Ramsey of Fredonia.
Rogers was pronounced dead. Ramsey suffered apparently minor injuries and was taken to Fredonia Regional Medical Center for treatment. Deloach was not hurt.
