The agenda is short for the Emporia-Lyon County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission’s monthly meeting Tuesday.
The main topic of conversation will be a rezoning request involving 513 Congress and 519 Congress, just west of the Humanitarian Center. If approved by both the Planning Commission and Emporia City Commission, both addresses would shift from R-3 High Density Residential to C-3 General Commercial zoning.
The meeting is at 6 pm at the Municipal Court Room.
