Newman Regional Health’s Express Care is offering a new, less crowded waiting room for patients.
The hospital has partnered with QLess, a digital queue management systems provider, to create an online check-in process. Along with cutting down the number of individuals in a waiting room at one time, the system also provides same-day scheduling and check-ins through mobile devices or computers and provides real-time updates.
In a news release from the hospital, Newman Regional Health Medical Partners Practice Manager Marla McClellan spoke about the ease of access the QLess system provides to patients. McClellan stated, “even if you don’t check in through the app or website, you can come to the clinic, be assigned a spot in line and then return to the comfort of your home or your car and get notifications as to when to return to the clinic.”
Patients can download the QLess app on their phones or can access the service via Newman’s website NewmanRH.org.
