A car crash near Emporia caused a destructive vehicle fire.
The crash happened in the 2000 block of Road J around 11 am. Emporia Fire Battalion Chief Eron Steinlage says the driver was not hurt, but the car was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived and was destroyed.
