One person has been arrested after what Coffey County authorities say was a multi-county chase Wednesday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office says the cahse began in Woodson County and continued into southern Coffey County, ultimately ending southwest of Gridley. No injuries were reported and the currently-unnamed suspect was the only person in the vehicle.
Coffey County deputies say the chase involved a stolen vehicle from another county, with the driver moving erratically at high speed.
Besides Coffey County deputies, the chase and search also involved Burlington Police, Garnett Police, deputies from Anderson and Woodson counties and the Kansas Highway Patrol. A decision on formal charges is pending.
