The Coffey County Health Department has announced plans for its drive-thru flu shot vaccination clinics the next few weeks.
All clinics will be held at fire stations between 5:30-6:30 pm. The schedule is as follows:
*Sept. 27: New Strawn
*Oct. 4: Lebo
*Oct. 9: Waverly
*Oct. 11: LeRoy
*Oct. 16: Gridley
*Oct. 18: Burlington
Cost is $45 for the standard dose available to all and $90 for the high-dose vaccine, which is only available for residents ages 65 and older. Insurance cards can be presented.
The Greenwood County Health Department has a drive-thru flu shot clinic from 3-4:30 pm Oct. 2 in front of the Health Department building. Residents are asked to bring their insurance cards.
The Morris County Health Department has a drive-thru clinic from 1-4 pm Sept. 27 at the Health Department parking lot.
Drive-thru dates are pending for Chase, Osage and Wabaunsee counties. Information about COVID-19 vaccination availability is pending areawide.
