Red Rocks State Historic Site is hosting a day of poetry this weekend.
The 16th edition of Poetry on the Porch will be taking place at the William Allen White home Sunday afternoon. The event, which invites local poets to share their works with one another in an open mic format, will be hosted by former Kansas Poet Laureate Kevin Rabas.
The event will also include a featured guest poet who has yet to be announced. Poetry on the Porch will take place from 2 pm to 3 pm.
