Cotton pic it! I planned to share a yarn about Taylor Swift with you today using supposed inside information gained from listening to Travis Kelce’s brother. But, Kelce sabotaged my plan by inviting the songwriter and performer to join his family in a suite for the Chief’s game this past Sunday.
Taylor Swift is something!
According to Time magazine, Swift’s Eras Tour which ended its U. S. leg in August will set new all-time records. The show which pays homage to every era of her 17-year career is projected to gross $2.2 billion in North America alone surpassing Elton John’s farewell tour.
Swift’s Eras Tour is expected to generate close to $5 billion in consumer spending in the U.S. alone with fans dropping an estimated $1,300 to $1,500 in ancillary local spending for things like outfits, dining, and travel.
Taylor Swift is unique in that she writes all her own songs and fiercely protects her work in this stream’s crazy boom.
Her tour is now scheduled to cross five continents before ending in 2024.
After the game Sunday Taylor Swift was seen leaving with Travis Kelce in his vintage plum colored 1970 Chevelle convertible headed for a party at a rooftop club Kelce reportedly bought out for friends and teammates to celebrate long into the night. No report on Kelce’s dancing ability was available.
