Water line repairs are coming to two streets in west Emporia on Wednesday.
The city says one affected line is under West 12th between Graphic Arts and Hatcher. The street will be closed for repairs and water service will be impacted for businesses nearby.
Another water main repair process is now underway at 15th and Thompson. Water service for nearby residents will be impacted.
This activity follows a water leak repair in the 800 block of Commercial from Tuesday.
Emporia’s water watch continues until further notice, meaning voluntary water conservation measures are requested while the watch remains in place.
