Two members of the Emporia High girls golf team placed in the top five at the Shawnee Heights Invitational Thursday.
Ella Fessler shot a career-best 78 to finish second. Elise Eckert shot an 82 to finish fourth.
Nicole Dalton shot a 106 to finish 21st.
As a team, Emporia High finished fifth with a 401.
Up next for Emporia High will be the Manhattan Invitational on Monday.
