Northbound traffic on Interstate 35 will be constricted as part of a bridge repair project over another major highway.
On Wednesday, the Kansas Department of Transportation is beginning repairs affecting the bridge over US Highway 75. This will restrict northbound I-35 traffic to one lane and bring maximum speeds down to 60 mph. The goal is to finish work by late fall.
PCI Roads LLC of Saint Michael, Minnesota, won the contract with a nearly $84,000 bid.
