Emporia High senior Micah Sheffy-Harris won the Winfield Invitational with a time of 20:37.64.
Sheffy-Harris was one of four Lady Spartans to run in Winfield Thursday.
Bailee Van Sickle finished fifth with a time of 21:39.85. Leanna Lewis finished 19th (23:32.71) and Kaylee Wellman finished 30th (26:05.05).
Emporia High did not field a full team to record a team score on the girls side.
On the boys side, the Spartans finished eighth. Andrew Cunningham was the top Spartan finishing in 37th with a time of 21:07.36.
Emporia High will return to action next Saturday by traveling to El Dorado.
