The Emporia High football team fell 51-7 to Manhattan Friday night.
Manhattan scored the first 51 points of the game before Emporia High got on the scoreboard.
Sheldon Stewart put Emporia High on the board with a 34-yard touchdown run with 6:30 to play in the game.
Stewart had 27 yards passing and 50 yards rushing.
Emporia High is now 0-5 on the season, 0-2 in the Centennial League. The Spartans jump out of league play and travel to Wichita East for a 4 p.m. kick next Friday.
