A Carbondale resident suffered suspected minor injuries after a single vehicle accident on the Kansas Turnpike Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident at KTA mile marker 117.9 southbound at 2:50 pm. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2006 Toyota Corolla, driven by 18-year-old Clason Rosine, was southbound when his vehicle began to shake causing him to lose control and strike a guardrail.
Rosine was taken to Newman by ambulance and was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
