Kansas Governor Laura Kelly says the state’s high-speed internet connectivity is now available for public comment.
The Digital Equity Plan focuses strictly on connecting users, including affordable service plans, broadband-ready device availability and digital skills training, while the state’s Broadband Equity Access and Deployment Five-Year Action Plan outlines the state plan for providing access to high-speed internet.
Governor Kelly says the Digital Equity Plan is a stepping stone towards a vision of universal access to involvement in the digital economy as well as education, employment, health care and social services.
