High school football is rarely played in the afternoon during the regular season.
That will be the case Friday afternoon when Emporia High travels to Wichita to face East.
Emporia High coach Kaden Glinsmann says the Spartans need to slow down the Blue Aces and play their pace.
Even with the festivities happening at Wichita East, senior Thai Iverson says the Spartans need to remain locked in.
Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at Wichita East High School. You can hear the game on 14 KVOE-AM/96.9 FM with coverage beginning around 3:30 p.m.
