A long road trip to Pittsburg didn’t affect the Emporia High boys soccer team Thursday night.
Emporia High defeated the Purple Dragons, 4-2 after having a 2-1 lead at halftime.
Kevin Magana led the offense with two goals and assisted on the Spartans’ other two goals. Alex Mosiman and Dario Guevara scored the other two goals.
Emporia High is now 6-6 on the season. They’ll conclude the regular season with the first of four home matches at 6 p.m. Monday against Topeka High.
