The Emporia State women’s soccer team picked up their fourth draw of the year after a 2-2 finish with Northwest Missouri Friday afternoon in Maryville, Mo. Each team tallied two in the first period with Mackenzie Dimarco picking up her fifth and sixth goals of the season for the Lady Hornets. Dimarco tied the MIAA career goals record at 67 with Jada Scott of Central Missouri who played from 2014-2018. ESU outshot Northwest 6-5 after halftime, but a Hadlie Lowe left-footed shot from 30-yards out was deflected over the goal by the Bearcat keeper with less then 20 seconds to play in the game. Emporia State moves to 3-4-4 on the season and goes to 2-1-1 in the MIAA with the tie snapping a two-match winning streak. E-State returns to action Sunday to face Missouri Western in St. Joseph, Mo. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
