The Emporia High girls cross country team won the El Dorado Invitational Saturday.
Emporia High record 36 points, winning the meet by 38 points over Liberal.
Six Lady Spartans placed in the top 20 with four of them in the top 10. Freshman Madison Evans was the top Lady Spartan finisher taking fourth with a time of 20:27.22. Freshman Emma Beatty was fifth (20:29.38). Senior Micah Sheffy-Harris finished seventh (21:12.16) and sophomore Bailee Van Sickle finished ninth (21:36.26).
Senior Sofia Ruvalcaba finished 11th (21:42.84). Junior Allison Curtis finished 20th (22:10.02).
On the boys side, the Spartans finished fourth with 115 points, behind Wamego, Liberal and McPherson.
Junior Daghyn True finished fourth with a time of 16:18.95. Gideon Lowery finished 12th with a time of 17:30.59.
Up next for Emporia High is the Centennial League meet which will be held in Topeka.
