Evergy crews had to restore a power outage that affected a central Emporia neighborhood Tuesday evening.
The outage was reported at 7:05 pm and was apparently centered near Seventh between Walnut and Washington. Customers between Sixth and Eighth were affected from Lawrence to West.
The outage has been restored. A cause has not been announced.

Evergy Crews are working to restore power to nearly 70 customers following an outage that developed Tuesday evening.
The outage was reported at 7:05 pm affecting customers from Washington to Walnut to Lawrence. A cause of the outage and restoration time are currently pending.
