Three days, three water main breaks in Emporia so far this week.
The latest break was reported around 7 pm along West Kansas Avenue between South Congress and South Commercial. Water service was disrupted for that neighborhood for several hours.
This follows a break near 10th and Weaver on Monday and another in the 2200 block of West 22nd on Sunday.
7:20 pm Tuesday: Water main break reported in south Emporia Tuesday night
Emporia Public Works Crews are tending to a water main break in south Emporia Tuesday night.
The break was reported on West Kansas Avenue just after 7 pm. Full details are pending, however, this is the third break to be reported in Emporia since Sunday afternoon.
Water service may be disrupted to residents along West Kansas from South Congress to South Commercial.
