Emporia’s new Harbor Freight store will officially open later this month.
The store has actually ben open for a few days following renovations inside and outside the store at Flinthills Mall, but the official grand opening ceremony will be at 8 am Oct. 28. The store is in the space previously occupied by Spirit Halloween, Sears and Food 4 Less.
Harbor Freight says the store involves about 15,000 square feet with a range of tools and equipment, including automotive, air and power tools, outdoor power equipment, welding supplies, shop equipment, hand tools and storage.
This is Harbor Freight’s 18th store in Kansas.
