Letters of support, annual payments and human resource matters all gained approval from Lyon County Commissioners Thursday morning.
Commissioners first approved a pair of letters of support for grants to benefit both Hetlinger Developmental Services and Crosswinds Counseling and Wellness through the Kansas Department of Transportation. Commissioners also approved paying the city of Emporia $26,411.48 for the Motorola computer-aided dispatch system and firewall for annual renewal.
Human Resources Director Alicia Rumold also requested commissioners discuss employee holiday gifts which they did as part of a non-elected personnel executive session.
County Commissioners will reconvene for their weekly meeting at 9 am Thursday inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
