Deliberations continue in an attempted murder case originating from an incident near Emporia a year ago.
The jury in the case against Logan Casteel got the case late Thursday afternoon, according to Lyon County Attorney Marc Goodman.
Casteel has been on trial since Tuesday after allegedly shooting a man just southwest of Emporia last October.
