Early indications are a pair of fundraisers connected to the United Way of the Flint Hills’ annual campaign were successful.
This includes the very first Flush it Forward, where painted toilets were moved across town to both raise funds and draw attention to the mission. Drive chair Lynn Cunningham came up with the idea:
Also, the United Way is expecting similar totals from the Small Business Blitz held last week.
Cunningham encourages residents to donate to the campaign whenever possible.
