The Flint Hills Senior Life Fair is all about information, and there was a lot of information to be had at this year’s event.
Seniors, family members and caregivers poured into the Lyon County Fairgrounds Anderson Building on Wednesday. Committee chair Valorie Libertus says people are more active in seeking out information than they were before.
At the same time, service providers have adapted.
This year’s Senior Life Fair had a number of vendors and information booths. This year’s education sessions involved advancements in care for patients with Alzheimer’s Disease and sleep apnea. There was also a chair yoga session and entertainment provided by Doctor Cook’s Medicine Show.
