Chase County emerges victorious in Battle of Bulldogs

Chase County took a dominating rushing attack en route to a 58-6 victory over Madison this evening.

Honoring seniors prior to the contest, it was no surprise that Senior Brock Griffin was motivated in what could be his last game at Ron Mayo Field. Griffin rushed for 226 yards, finding the end zone six times.

Derick Budke was pleased with how his team responded after disappointing losses the last two weeks.

Chase Country improved to 5-3, clinching third place in 8-man D1 District 2. Madison(4-4) will conclude their season next week in a non-playoff game. Area playoff brackets have not been finalized by KSHSAA as of late Friday night.
