Utility crews are beginning repairs on a water main break in south Emporia.
Crews were dispatched to the 300 block of South Cottonwood around 5 pm. Other details about the break are pending.
City Communications Manager Christine Johnson says water service will be affected along South Cottonwood from East Kansas to Norton. South Cottonwood will be closed until further notice.
