Dimarco Named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week Again

Fifth-year forward Mackenzie Dimarco has won her second MIAA Offensive Player of the Week award following her four-goal outburst last week.  Dimarco tallied a ‘haul’ of four goals in leading the Emporia State soccer team to a 4-2 win at Newman last week.  Last week was a busy one for Dimarco as she fired eight shots with six on goal.  The MIAA’s all-time goal leader is currently third in career points in MIAA history with 159.  She’s one point behind Sara Murray who totaled 160 at Truman State from 2001-04.  The Lady Hornets wrap up the regular season this weekend with two road matches beginning Friday at Nebraska-Kearney.  Kickoff set set for 2:00 p.m.
