There’s still time to help save lives and give blood with Emporia High School’s annual blood drive set for Thursday.
The drive will run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the EHS junior varsity gym.
On KVOE’s Newsmaker 2 Segment Wednesday, EHS sophomore and student council representative Jax Cole says Emporia High has been a premier partner with the American Red Cross and has been working together for over 10 years.
Cole says the maximum capacity for the drive is 154 appointments and added that over 100 appointments have been scheduled.
To sign up for an appointment, visit redcross.org, and type in 66801 as the zip code to find the EHS Blood Drive.
