CareArc’s brand-new dental clinic has been in use for a few days, and the medical facility celebrated an expansion and new space with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week.
Besides doubling the number of offertory spaces so staffers can see more patients, the new area offers innovative technology for a range of services including preventive care, restorative treatments and emergency work. This also let CareArc expand its dental staff by adding another dentist.
CareArc CEO Renee Hively says dental care is an underrated indicator of overall health.
This follows an unveiling of a new medical wing late June, designed to offer state-of-the-art equipment in a more patient-friendly space for primary physical health and behavioral health. Both projects were funded in large part by a $500,000 federal grant through the American Rescue Plan Act from the Health Resources and Services Administration.
