The ongoing war between Israel and Hamas was on Kansas US Senator Roger Marshall’s mind as he held a telephone town hall about Medicare enrollment this week.
Marshall says Hamas knows no limits with its attacks on Israelis over the past month.
Marshall says federal lawmakers are in “constant contact” with State Department officials as things unfold. He also says there are two wars underway at this time. He also expects a lengthy conflict before it’s resolved.
Marshall was also sharply critical of President Biden for not being tougher on Iran, which Marshall says is largely responsible for funding Hamas, Hezbollah and other terror organizations.
On Medicare enrollment, Marshall reminded seniors they don’t have to change anything if they are satisfied with their current coverage. If they are considering changes, especially if they are looking at Medicare Advantage options, they should ask a few questions.
Marshall also advised seniors considering Medicare Advantage to ask around about others’ experiences with their potential insurance provider if they want a change.
