A Butler County resident suffered possible injuries following an accident in Chase County Saturday evening.
The accident was reported at Kansas Turnpike Mile Marker 100.2 southbound at 6 pm. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2006 Chevrolet HHR was traveling in the area when it hydroplaned, entered the ditch and struck a tree.
The driver, 20-year-old Emily Garcia of Rose Hill was listed with possible injuries, but she was not listed as being transported to a hospital. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
