Repair work on a pair of water main breaks in northwest Emporia is complete.
Repairs on a break at West 22nd and Prairie Street, reported around 9 am, were completed and water service was restored to all customers just before 12:30 pm. A little more than ten minutes later, crews wrapped up work on a second break on Sunset Lake Drive which was reported just before 10 am.
Additional details including the size of the lines in question and the cause of the breaks have not been divulged.

Two water main breaks in northwest Emporia are under repair at this time.
Crews were alerted to a break at 22nd and Prairie around 9 am. A second break on Sunset Lake Drive was reported just before 10 am.
