Halloween can cause concerns about children being close to sex offenders, and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says residents can go online to find the locations of registered offenders countywide.
Residents can go to lyoncountyso.com/offenderwatch-program to find the addresses of over 150 registered offenders. The program also lets residents sign up for free automated email notices if offenders move into their neighborhood.
