Fifth-year forward Mackenzie Dimarco has been unanimously named the MIAA Soccer Offensive Player of the Year by the conference. Four Lady Hornet players earned conference honors from the MIAA including Hannah Woolery who joined Dimarco on the First Team while Joanie Westcoat was Second Team All-MIAA and Abby Bachman earned Honorable Mention honors. Dimarco won her second Offensive Player of the Year award after leading ‘The Association’ with 16 goals while becoming the league’s all-time goal leader this season. Woolery recorded three goals with four assists on the way to her First Team honors. Westcoat earned All-MIAA recognition for the third-straight season while Bachman was a standout on the backline and received Honorable Mention honors for the second-straight season. ESU finished the year 9-5-4 with an 8-2-1 record in the MIAA and enters the MIAA Tournament as the No. 4 seed. The Lady Hornets host No. 5 seed Northwest Missouri on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the first round at the ESU Pitch.
