After a successful start to its Winter Market activities this past weekend, the Emporia Farmers Market is ready for its biggest fundraiser of the year.
Soup-a-Palooza takes place Tuesday. Market Coordinator Trisha Fullerton encourages people to vote — and to get a bowl of soup Tuesday.
There will be a list of favorites on the menu, along with homemade desserts.
There will also be a silent auction as part of the event.
Soup-a-Palooza takes place at the Lyon County Fairgrounds Anderson Building. Dine-in will be offered from 11 am to 3 pm, while carry-out will go from 11 am to 6 pm. Dine-in soup and dessert will cost $8. A take-home pint is $7 with take-home desserts at $2 each.
