Emporia Police were involved in a short chase with a cyclist early Tuesday.
The incident started developing in downtown Emporia around 3 am after officers tried a traffic stop, but the currently unnamed cyclist refused to stop. The cyclist was detained a few minutes later and was cooperative — but still went to the Lyon County Jail on unconnected and unspecified matters.
