The main event is Thursday, but you can already start bidding on nearly 25 items as part of the KVOE-National Teachers Hall of Fame Radio Auction as we speak.
The bid sheets for both the live and online auctions are available through nthf.org, charityauctions.net and kvoe.com as well as the National Teachers Hall of Fame’s Facebook page. Administrative Assistant Jennifer Baldwin says the online auction ends Dec. 1.
Some highlights include several items donated by Hall of Fame inductees — an ABC Mouse backpack and one-year subscription from 2014 inductee Rebecca Palacios, a Dollywood resort and spa certificate from 2007 inductee Edna Rogers on that list — and a “sportscasters dream” package through KVOE.
The 32nd annual radio auction begins at 6 pm Thursday at the Emporia State Federal Credit Union Industrial Road branch. There are nearly 70 packages up for bid.
To bid, call 620-342-1400 or message information to 620-342-5863. You can view Thursday’s auction at KVOE-TV at KVOE.com or ValuNet FIBER channel 3.
