A pair of water main breaks that developed in west Emporia on Thursday have been repaired.
Underground Utilities crews were dispatched to Overlander Road outside Glendo before 2 pm. They then went to the front of Emporia Middle School as school was letting out before 3:30 pm.

Two more water main breaks have Emporia’s Underground Utilities Department busy Thursday afternoon.
Crews are working on a water main break that developed in front of Emporia Middle School. The official word was released around the time school was letting out for the day.
The water main is shut off along Graphic Arts from 24th to Mount Vernon Terrace.
Crews are also repairing a break on Overlander Road near the Glendo facility.
Water service will be affected near both zones until repairs are finalized.
