Emporia Spartan Boxing ended the competition in Topeka Saturday night with a 1-1 record.
10-year-old Arlis Sieberns fought well in his debut bout but came up just short losing via decision. Undefeated heavyweight Darin Neal increased his record to 3-0 winning via split decision.
Emporia Spartan Boxing is now gearing up for the Silver and Golden Gloves tournaments coming up in December and January.
